Terms of Service

By installing or using the MangoPort Android app (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your jurisdiction requires it.

2. Account

The Service authenticates you via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One active session per email address — logging in on a new device disconnects previous sessions.

3. Free and Premium tiers

• Free: calling is fully functional from first use, with no trial period, call countdown, or time limit. The free tier displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob and uses the shared relay pool. Local remote-call recording is a Premium feature.
• Premium: an auto-renewing monthly subscription purchased through Google Play. Premium removes advertising, gives the subscriber priority access to relay capacity reserved for Premium accounts, and enables consent-based local recording of the remote audio and video received during a call. If reserved capacity is unavailable, the Service may fall back to the shared relay pool so that a connection can continue.
• Per-account benefit: each subscription applies to the subscribing account. A connection does not require either participant to subscribe, and its availability or duration does not depend on payment.

The current price and billing period are shown in Google Play before purchase and may vary by country, currency, and applicable taxes. There is no free-trial offer. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play; Premium benefits remain available until the end of the paid period. Billing, cancellation, and refund processing are subject to Google Play's applicable terms and policies.

4. Local call recording

A Premium user may record only after the other participant gives directional consent through MangoPort. The recorded participant receives a continuous in-call disclosure and may revoke consent in Settings. The recorder is responsible for complying with all recording, privacy, workplace, surveillance, notice, and consent laws that apply to every participant and location. MangoPort's in-app consent flow does not replace any additional consent or notice required by law.

Recordings are stored only in the recorder's selected local or removable-storage folder, not on MangoPort servers. The recorder is responsible for securing, retaining, sharing, exporting, and deleting those files and for ensuring adequate storage. Ring cleanup may automatically delete the oldest MangoPort recording files according to the configured limit or available space. We cannot recover deleted, damaged, unavailable, or lost local files.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Transmit illegal content.
• Record, retain, or share a call in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer our infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided “as is”, without uptime guarantees. We may add, change, or remove features, and may temporarily take the Service offline for maintenance.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where our coordinator is hosted.
